Here are a couple of samples of this week's work:
I plan to give these to some children in the congregation here.
Here is a baby quilt I made last month. Some of it includes some quilting squares that I received from my Grandmother, which she had cut out years ago. I'm quite sure she never would have imagined that those little pieces of material would... end up in....

Wonderful work, Joy! I love both of the shirts and the baby quilt is beautiful! I am glad you are getting to do some sewing. What a lovely way to spend time. Love you sweet friend. Always thankful for you and the encouragement you give, whether spiritually or just happy homemaker wise. xo

Those are beautiful Mrs Joy! I've been wanting to make myself a baby quilt for my Hope Chest, I really need to start soon...your colors are really pretty, by the way! :)
Love you! <3

Thank you, Debbie and Naomi. Actually, the second picture is of a little girl's dress- hard to tell from the picture. :) I do plan to make another shirt like the first one, since there are two girls about the same size in that family. Instead of a drawstring in the neck, I might just put elastic though. :)
Great work. I think sewing is such a fantastic skill. I'll try to follow you on wordpress.
